What is SIP
Many among us started to earn from this year itself, so they want to grow now their savings to an ultimate level, which now seems difficult in bank FD and post office schemes.
so as we all heard from different resources about mutual funds and sip, so now we want to know more about these options.
So friends sip is systematic investment plan, means you want to follow a system of investment.
Friends generally it is observed that long term returns of this sip is 12 to 15 percent.
While you will get only 7 to 8 percent in other options of investment.
So this will create a big difference in maturity of your money.
Where your funds will be invested?
So in sip your funds will be invested according to your choice like in debt or stock market.
Generally for higher returns it will be invested in stock market of your country.
Friends generally we all want to invest in stock market directly but due to lack of knowledge we all lost our money in the market besides not get any returns.
So due to this we should invest our money in to mutual funds through sip.
As in sip your money is going to be invested in stock market but through mutual funds managers.
Suppose you want to invest 15000 monthly in market but you don't have any experience.
So just invest 15000 in any mutual fund through sip and keep this continue till minimum 5 to 10 years.
This will generate long term wealth for you and also will provide tax benefits
We take an example-
Money you want to invest -15000.00
Return -15 percent (suppose)
So your maturity amount - 39.51 lacs
In FD -7 percent
So maturity will be - 25.81 lacs
Time horizon is same -10 years
So you will get about 13.7 lacs more through sip route.
But the major difference is in FD you will get these fixed returns.
While in sip return in between will be according to market sentiments.
So if you want money in between you may get less then invested or more than 15 percent also.
So it is written on mutual funds promotion that it is subjected to market risks.
But my experience tells that you will get more than 15 percent also in long terms like 18 to 20 percent.
Just don't try to sell your long term investment, while market is down.
In next topic we will learn about how to invest in sip?
Bye bye
